Since 2022 I am involved in a book project and the 80s TV-docu project Brigade 861, which is the reason why I am currently not producing new music. As for my label BODYVOLT: due to the crazy price uplift for international shipping it became almost impossible to sell vinyl outside of Germany. Bodyvolt is a self-distributed label, so it was always dependent on numerous international buyers. The new shipment rates make it highly unlikely that there will be enough orders from Europe and the USA in the future; people won't pay 14-20 Euros postage for a record that costs 10 Euros and I don't blame them! So my motivation for further releases is low since. I don't quit the label, but at the moment there is no release scheduled. .

July 2021:
At this point I have no plans for a new Beta Evers (solo) release. Unfinished collaborative music projects (R.A.F., D.B.P.) are "on ice" for the time being. Bodyvolt label: right now there is no material ready to be released.

I get many requests to make guest vocals, but I cannot find the time for it. Same goes for other kinds of collaborations. I need to concentrate on own projects. Sorry!

About copyright: When I give a track to a label for a compilation, or when I give some tracks to a label for an EP, or when I provide vocals or sounds for someone, it means this person/label and me have an agreement for a concrete, agreed release and ONLY for this release/pressing. It’s never unlimited, like: now you can do with my work whatever you want. No! I want the responsible person to ask me if I am ok with a repress, a remix or anything else where my musical material gets used again. I am not ok with it, when there are unauthorized remixes, represses, secondary licenses/marketing or anything else that has not been discussed with me before. It is so easy to talk to me and ask for my YES or NO. And, as long as I ask questions, it does not mean I am basically ok with it. Only when all questions are clearified and I say YES, OK, then there is a deal. As a label owner I never used the material of Kommando 6 artists for other things than the discussed release on Kommando 6. I would never even think about using other people's stuff for something else, other labels and releases without an OK of the concerned artist.
